If you kiss a girl and she smiles is it a good thing?

I told my closest friend that I like her and she didn't freak out but she has a bf so there was nothing she could have done. A few weeks ago, I went to visit her at night and she already had her tshirt and sweats on and I think she was wearing a thong but anyway she was really tired so I didn't get to see her for long. So as she was going to bed and I went out the door I gave her a big hug and she put her arms around my lower back , I told her I love her and she loves me too, I then kissed her on the cheek and she stared at me and smiled. Iv kissed her on the cheek a few times before but she would usually say something like thank you or awww but this time she didn't say anything and just smiled.
