What should I do about this?

I bought a bottle of distilled water from winn dixie and tried to open it but I couldn't get it open. Then my husband tried to open it and he couldn't either. Then he used some tool to get it open. We tried the water and it tasted terrible. It turns out that when they were gluing the seal to the cap of the container the glue got onto the cap and into the water.... that we drank. My question is: Is it toxic and should I worry or should I just forget about this?
