How can I get my guy back?

I been seeing this guy for about 5 months before he just completely stopped answering my phone calls and replying to my text messages. It was love at first sight with us. We got along so well and had a lot in common. His daughter mother is a huge problem shes still in love with him but he doesn't want her back. Every new girl he tries to talk to shes trying to do anything in her power to cause trouble. A situation came about with me and his child's mother to wheres though i went past his moms house looking for him. He found out and was pissed. That's when he stopped answering calls & texts. He says he feel like he cant trust me anymore and that i'm not the same sweet person he met. I been sending texts and fb messages telling him how i feel and that i apologize for coming past his mothers house with him knowing. I want him back so bad. But he's not having it. What can I do to get him back? Or is it best for me to just leave him alone?
